The genesis of Digikul stemmed from the realization that people frequently needed guidance on a variety of subjects to do with our areas of expertise-but often did not have access to a reliable and discreet source for the answer.
Queries ranged from taxation, disposal of property, setting up a new company, insurance, dissolution of companies and to disinheriting a child! While everyone might have a Chartered Accountant for managing their finances, not all questions can be asked to them and conversely, they might not have all the answers.
Thus came about Digikul- the collective brainchild of erudite professionals from the world of finance and business.

What’s In The Name?
In crafting the name Digikul, we drew inspiration from the rich tradition of the "gurukul" – a sacred space where students imbibed knowledge, wisdom, and life skills under the guidance of learned teachers. Rooted in this tradition, Digikul represents a modern interpretation of the gurukul ethos, where digital expertise converges with traditional wisdom to create a vibrant community of knowledge-sharing and learning.
Historically, a "gurukul" used to be a residential school and the students used to reside in or around the teachers home.
A combination of "guru"-teacher and "kula"-home/family.
